Daniel Gibbs wants “a modernized administration”

In the preamble of the territorial council yesterday morning, President Daniel Gibbs mentioned the human resources of the Collectivité.

Among the items on the agenda, the elected representatives must decide on the creation of positions that are "necessary for the good functioning" of the Collectivité, in particular those of Director of Human Resources (HR) and Director General of Services (DGS ), knowing that Philippe Million will soon retire. “These are key positions for the operation of our Collectivité”, Daniel Gibbs said.

Believing that the Collectivité is functioning "today as a municipality in terms of human resources", a situation that is "no longer acceptable", the president wants to "now be able to benefit from a real" HRD.  "The current situation must not remain because I refuse, on this part like for the rest, to proceed further in this situation of permanent legal uncertainty," he said.
Daniel Gibbs also hopes the Directorate General of Services brings "a breath of fresh air". "Beyond the budgetary worries and the various problems we found when taking the commands of the Collectivité two months ago, I discovered an administration out of breath," he said. And to clarify: "There is a lack of management positions, some agents are not used wisely. In some services there is still a real difficulty, particularly for management reasons. "

Also the new majority announces that it will "restructure the services and perfect the administration". Daniel Gibbs wants "a modernized administration that works perfectly". He said "to refuse to steer" the Collectivité "in legal uncertainty".
