A young girl has been missing since Monday evening

Darlenchie, aged 18, left the family home on Monday evening.

Since Tuesday evening, a call for witnesses has been posted on social networks about the so-called disappearance of an 18-year old girl. She left the family home on Monday evening and still hasn’t returned.

The gendarmes have been alerted. The teenager’s description was given to all the patrols on the ground starting on Tuesday morning. Her name’s Darlenchie, she’s approximately 1.60 m tall (5' 5"), has long hair, wears glasses and has a plaster.

According to some testimonies, she was supposedly seen in Grand Case and Concordia. This leads the gendarmes to believe that it’s not an "alarming disappearance but a runaway". "It’s a voluntary act", reassured the Captain Emmanuel Maignan, while explaining that runaways can take on an alarming nature if they last a long time.

The young girl was supposed to take the baccalaureate exams on Wednesday morning but did not go.

Wednesday afternoon, Darlenchie did not get home yet.
