My Saint-Martin Flag: Vote for your flag through October 21

Ten flag designs have been selected as part of the “My Saint-Martin Flag” initiative. Now it’s up to the public to choose the flag that will represent the French part of the island.

The ten designs in the running are featured online, and every resident of Saint-Martin can vote for their favorite(s). They can vote as many times as they like once every 24 hours. Voting began on Wednesday and will continue through October 21. The public vote will be taken into account alongside the jury’s evaluation in the final selection of the territory’s flag.

A description is provided for each flag. The designer explains the meaning of the design, the choice of colors, and their significance.

Next, a graphic designer will be brought in to make technical adjustments to the winning flag. Adjustments may be made at the request of the Collectivité, in agreement with the designer, to perfect the design.

The winning flag will be officially adopted on December 4.
