Sandy Ground bridge: Traffic disruptions expected due to maintenance work

Work on the Sandy Ground Bridge is scheduled for Tuesday, September 8, and Wednesday, September 9, and may disrupt traffic, the Collectivité announced.

On Tuesday, September 8, a preliminary visual inspection will be conducted to examine and assess the bridge without any physical intervention, in the presence of technicians and a hydraulic engineer.

The following day, Wednesday, September 9, the bridge will be opened and closed between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. These operations may cause temporary traffic disruptions.

The COM advises travelers to plan their trips in advance and to follow all signage and on-site instructions. The final diagnostic report on the Sandy-Ground Bridge is expected to be submitted in October, following the civil engineering assessment.
