Man seriously injured during accident in Sint Maarten

A french car is involved.

The police traffic department is presently investigating a very serious accident which took place on Monday March 29th at approximately 01.30 a.m. in front of Mr. K Supermarket on the crossing of Sucker Garden road and Guana Bay road. Several police patrols, police traffic department and paramedics were sent to the scene to investigate what had taken place. On the scene the investigating officers encountered the driver of a french car who was bleeding profusely from life threatening wounds to his head and face which he suffered as a result of the impact. The victim was treated on the spot by paramedics and immediately rushed to the Sint Maarten Medical for treatment. The victim remains admitted for treatment and observation in critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit. The investigation done by the Police Traffic Department indicates that the victim was driving at very high speed coming from the direction of Sucker Garden and for unknown still reasons drove straight on colliding with a wall, four parked cars and a steel bill board causing a lot of material damage.
