Music Festival on Tuesday June 21 on the seafront
Created in France in 1981 and celebrated on June 21, the day of the summer solstice, the Music festival is an event that is celebrated in about one hundred countries, including in Saint-Martin. Its main vocation is to promote music, especially emerging talents and amateurs who can perform in the street. Saint-Martin is part of this initiative and the Collectivité will therefore give local artists the opportunity to perform on stage.
This year, the schoolchildren will open the festivities from 9 to 11 am. The students of the Saint-Martin elementary schools will present their musical. We hope lots of you will come to applaud them!
From 7 to 10 pm, the Saint-Martin stage will celebrate music and put the "la" in the 2016 edition of the Music festival. In partnership with Step Up Production, the Collectivité has concocted a wonderful billing, with DJ Prince - Rangi Hei Ori NTahiti Dance Group - Acoustic Style - ODD Brothers - Connis Vanterpool Band - Feat Essence - Percy Rankin - Rose Marie Hodge and Betty V.
Music that is 100% local will therefore be featured.
