Juliana: 30 kilos of cocaine in an Air France flight

According to the Agence France Presse, quoted by Liberation (french daily newspaper, 30 kgs of cocaine were found last week on board an Air France flight in Juliana. According to sources from the AFP, “the cocaine [was] kept in two sport bags,” located in the back hold of the aircraft.

According to the same sources, “the discovery of the drug on March 30 occurred during a maintenance operation, as a hydraulic leak was observed in the fuselage of the aircraft.”

“Dutch authorities opened an investigation following the discovery on board a Boeing 777 operated by Air France, on a layover in Saint-Martin on March 30, 2017," the airline confirmed to the AFP.
