An American boat sank in Marina Fort Louis

On Friday February 10th around 12am, "Silver Queen", an American fishing boat, sank in the Marina Fort Louis' waters after breaking its propeller with a mooring rope. Arrived in Marigot three days ago, the ship was the "canteen" for the shooting team of the TV Show "Below Deck".

Tricia, the chief on board, was the last one to leave the boat. "We were entering the Marina when I heard something and suddenly everybody started to yell 'Get Out'. The other boats' captains came to take the crew with their dinghys. I could take my things, I mean, the most important things, and I left the ship. Nobody got hurt. I was just afraid someone got electrocuted with all this water and the elctronic stuffs around."

She precises the Silver Queen is an historical fishing ship and as it was old it had several problems everyday.

The SNSM intervened. (Pictures below)

A few hours later, the boat was finally salvaged by a private company.
